JOHN STEWART-BOMBS AWAY DREAM BABIES

John Stewart-Bombs Away Dream Babies (1979)
  1. Gold
  2. Lost Her in the Sun
  3. Runaway Fool of Love
  4. Somewhere Down the Line
  5. Midnight Wind
  6. Over the Hill
  7. The Spinnin' of the World
  8. Comin' Out of Nowhere
  9. Heart of the Dream
  10. Hand Your Heart to the Wind
In remembrance of John Stewart, who passed away one year ago today, here is the biggest album of his career, criminally out of print. It reached #10 on the album chart and spun off 3 Top 40 hits: Gold (#5), Midnight Wind (#28) and Lost Her In The Sun (#34). With contributions from Stevie Nicks & Lindsay Buckingham, this 'daydream believer' made one of the best California folk rock albums of the 1970s.

Great share. A beautiful album and a missed voice.
Would love to find a copy of Dream Babies Go Hollywood if anyone can help. Thanks

WKC if you know how to operate http://westcoastbible.blogspot.com/ They have Dream Babies Go Hollywood... although it would seem there is no download link, but a link for the album via amazon... I don't personally understand the site, and not understanding French makes it awkward for me!

As far as I am aware they are purely an information only site. Don't think they actually post links. They do have a nice selection of some obscure and expensive lps. Too bad no one is willing to share them since most of these lps are no longer available or simply too expensive for most budgets. I will continue to look in hopes of finding a resonable option - I use to own this one but the kids got into my collection and one time and rendered this one unlistenable. My fault for not being more careful, but I wouldn't trade the kids for a new one anyway. Thank you for thinking of me and trying to find it. Someday...maybe. Very appreciated.

I'm surprised how difficult it was to find a d/l for this record. Much obliged
